On Friday 16th March, St. Andrew’s Netball A-team competed in league 1 at the Small School’s Tournament held at St. Edmund’s Girls School. Their first match, against Alderbury, ended up with them winning 2-1. They felt victorious, but had no idea they would win another 3 games. Next they went up against New Forest B team; they came out in the lead, scoring a successful 3-1. The 3rd game that they took part in, was versus Pembroke Park, and yet again they won, scoring 2-0. As their last group stage game they went up against Stratford A, and scored a triumphant 3-0. They got into the semi-finals, having won all their games, and went up against Greentrees. Sadly, although they tried their hardest, it was a tough game and they lost by only 2-1. Everyone who was playing had a great time; they ended up coming 3rd out of 15.
