Years 3 and 4 Football Tournament

On Friday 16th March, Years 3 and 4 took part in an under tens Football tournament. The two resilient teams, team A and team B, played an incredible 10 matches in total. Group B’s captain, Luke, said that his team played well, but had room for improvement. Out of the four games that they played, one was won, and three were lost. Christian, who was their goalkeeper, saved an unbelievable twelve shots, and the team scored four goals in total. In the end they came seventh out of sixteen. William, who was Group A’s captain, explained how his team played well, set up fantastic goals and kept possession of the ball; they won an awe-inspiring 5 matches. In goal, Rory saved twelve shots, and only a penalty shootout stopped them from winning the tournament. All in all, they came second, and the day was enjoyed by everyone.
