Thrilling Swimming Gala

On Tuesday 9th June Class 5 and 6 had a swimming gala. It was a battle of rivalry against houses to see who was the victor. The first race was Class 6 it was Ben, Zak, Rueben, Tiernan, Toby, Ollie and Sam it was back stroke first and it was a tight race but Sam won getting first place, Toby came second and Tiernan came third. Next it was Year 5 turn and Sadie came first Alfie second and Ben third. For the second set of racing it was front crawl. Class 6 were the first racing and it was a close race between Zak and Ben, Sam won getting first place Ben getting second and Zak third, next it was Class 5 turn, it was a close race between Alfie and Sadie but Sadie came out on top Alfie second and Harry third. Last it was the last set of racing were we are doing the breast stroke and it was Class 6 first. Surprisingly Ben and Zak came joint first and Sam getting third. It was a great swimming gala (I would even say thrilling) and I hope Class 5 have good luck on their last swimming gala.
